Summer operating times for the Sarajevo cable car

The Sarajevo cable car will be introducing its summer working hours on April 6. The cable car will run on weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and the operating time will be extended an extra hour on weekends, so that it will run from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. These times will remain in effect until autumn.

Tickets will be available for purchase until 8:30 p.m. The cost of a one-way ticket for BiH citizens is 4KM, and return tickets cost 6KM. The cost of tickets for tourists is 15KM (one-way) and 20KM (return).

Children up to the age of seven ride for free. Passengers with bicycles must pay an additional 4KM, but it is possible for pets to ride in the cable car. Tickets may be purchased at the base station on Hrvatin Street.

It is possible to access the Trebević cable car base station from Hrvatin Street, as well as from Hrvatin Čikma. The steps that run from Franjevačka Street have been temporarily closed due to the exterior work that is being done. There are signs at the entrances to the base station which provide directions to visitors.
