This year’s festival is opened with the film “Cold War” by Oscar-winner Pawel Pawlikowski.
This year’s Sarajevo Film Festival will present to its audience 266 films in 18 different programmes, four of which are competitive. It will feature as many as 42 world premieres, 23 international.
SFF will pay tribute to the Turkish filmmaker Nuri Bilge Ceylan, who will receive Honorary Heart of Sarajevo Award for his extraordinary contribution to the art of film.

Box office
Tickets will be available at four box office locations: the Main Box Office (Bosnian Cultural Center) – Branilaca
The main box office will work every day from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Meeting Point Cinema will work from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Visitors can enjoy musical performances in the evenings with DJ shows and concerts.
Traffic flow
The following streets will be closed to traffic: Zelenih Beretki St. (from the intersection with Ćumurija St. to the intersection with Gimnazijska St.); Branilaca Sarajeva St. (from the intersection with Gimnazijska St. to the intersection with Kulovića St.); and Ćemaluša St. (from the intersection with Mula Mustafe Bašeskije to the intersection with Branilaca
