The Ravna Planina Ski Center is Open Again

The Ravna planina ski center has opened its doors again, after nearly a two-month break caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Visitors to the center, located in the village of Gornje Pale, 20 kilometers from the center of Sarajevo, once again have at their disposal a 1400-meter-long gondola rides, which leads to scenic lookouts and two artificial lakes.

The gondola is in operation from 10:00 to 16:00, one-way ride costs 5 KM, and for children up to 6 years it is free. Due to the current protection measures, a maximum of three people can enter the gondola.

Numerous other activities are available in the Ravna planina Ski Center, such as: pedal boat rides on the artificial lake (at a cost of 5 KM per ride), walking on water with zorb balls and a 300-meter long zip line (5 KM per ride).

Guests also have at their disposal well-marked hiking trails, bicycles for rent (20 KM for the whole day, 10 KM for two hours of driving), as well as 12 kilometers of mountain biking trails.

The Gondola restaurant at the bottom of the ski slope and the Gondola hut at the arriving station are open from 08 am to 11 pm, and are in compliance with the prescribed protective measures.

These restaurants offer local specialties including splending local trout, which guests have the opportunity to fish for themselves.
