Welcome Center for visitors is officially open!

A Welcome Center for visitors was recently opened on Ćurčiluk Mali Street in Sarajevo. Created by the Zone of Improved Business (ZUP) Baščaršija and the Sarajevo Navigator Foundation, the purpose of the center is to complete the overall tourist offering for “Destination Sarajevo” during this year’s busy summer season, when even more tourists are expected to arrive in Sarajevo.

The Welcome Center has been designed to serve as a central information point for those who will be visiting Sarajevo during the 2014 summer tourist season. The Center offers free guide booklets and maps, original souvenirs, entertainment schedules and there is a small café where tourists can refresh themselves….

Sarajevo visitors can drop by every day, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., up until September, with a possibility of extension, should it be felt that the Center’s work is still needed beyond that time.

The Welcome Center has been made possible by support from the City of Sarajevo, the Municipality of Stari Grad, the Tourist Association of Sarajevo Canton and the USAID-Sida FIRMA Project.
