BBC to record episode of The Arts Hour on Tour in Sarajevo

The Arts Hour on Tour is a world-famous program by the BBC World Service that presents artists and urban scenes from all over the world, and Sarajevo has been chosen as the next location.


Recording will take place at the Youth Theater on October 11, starting at 6:30 p.m., and, if you'd like to be present during the session, it is necessary to register for free tickets here.

The recording will feature a performance by the terrific BiH bands, Dubioza Kolektiv and Helem Nejse; and Aida Begić, award-winning director of Snow and Children of Sarajevo; Jovan Marjanović of the Sarajevo Film Festival, conceptual artist Smirna Kulenović and comedian Filip Andronik will all be joining in on the discussion.

BBC journalist Nikki Bedi will be talking to them about the roles artists and creatives are playing in creating cultural life in Sarajevo.

The Arts Hour episode in Sarajevo will air on this famous TV network on Saturday, October 26. A recording will be made available on the BBC World Service website.
