In this way, the park near Second Gymnasium (in the local community known as Džidžikovac-Koševo I, between Koševo, Alipašina and Sutjeska Streets) will be named Safet Isović Park, after one of our most legendary sevdah interpreters, whom you can learn more about at the Sevdah Art House Museum.
The park by the Austrian house in the local community known as Park-Višnjik will be called Kemal Monteno Park, taking its name from one of the greats on Sarajevo’s music scene and one of BiH’s most famous cantators and crooners.
You can view an exhibit about Kemal Monteno at Skenderija’s Commercial//Economic City (Privredni Grad), near Collegium Artisticum, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day except Sunday.
