Exhibit on Hajrudin Šiba Krvavac

A multimedia exhibit on the renowned BiH director, Hajrudin Šiba Krvavac, has opened at Kinoteka BiH in Sarajevo.

The exhibit attests to the exceptional talent of this film master who was the most well known director in Former Yugoslavia who made action films about WWII.

When he was only 16 years old, Krvavac was a courier for Vladimir Perić, the leader of the Sarajevo resistance movement, and 30 years later he directed the movie, Valter Brani Sarajevo (Walter Defends Sarajevo). Thanks to this film, the whole world came to know about Sarajevo.

Krvavac received numerous awards for his work, including the “April 6th Award” from the City of Sarajevo.

The exhibit will run until November 21 and can be viewed from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
