The central part of the exhibit, which serves as a culmination of activities carried out by the Museum of Sarajevo in marking 100 years since the Sarajevo Assassination, takes a look at the culture of living and styles of dress in Sarajevo in the 20th century. Items on display in this part of the exhibit have been donated by residents of Sarajevo from their own private collections.
The exhibit is on display in the basement of Vijećnica in a space that should, in the future, house the Vijećnica Museum.
We remind you that you can visit Sarajevo Vijećnica every day, including weekends, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The price of admission is 2KM for adults and free for children up to the age of 15.
Exhibit: Sarajevo 1914-2014
The Museum of Sarajevo and the City of Sarajevo have organized an exhibit entitled, Sarajevo: 1914-2014, which was opened in Vijećnica on November 25, 2014 (BiH Statehood Day). The exhibit discusses the turbulent history of Sarajevo over the past 100 years.
