From Monday, September 9 until December 31, there will be three daily screenings of the multiple award-winning BiH documentary film, "Scream for Me Sarajevo".

With the purchase of a ticket to enter Vijećnica, those who visit at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. will be able to watch this cult documentary film, which follows world famous musician Bruce Dickinson and his band during their visit to besieged Sarajevo on December 1994, when they gave a concert at the Bosnian Cultural Center (BKC).

As City Administration representatives say, the film about Bruce Dickinson, an honorary citizen of Sarajevo, and his friends from the band is of historical significance for the City of Sarajevo because, in the best possible way, it told a story about survival and how indestructible Sarajevo was during the Siege, but also sent a message that music is a powerful means of connecting people, spreading love, friendship and peace.

While visiting Vijećnica, you also have the opportunity to view different permanent exhibits: “Portraits of Sarajevo Mayors,” “The Contemporaries’ Room,” “Statehood Day” and “Franz and Sophie,” and the Vijećnica Museum has two of its own exhibits on display: “Sarajevo Vijećnica Revisited” and “Sarajevo 1914-2014.”

We’d like to remind you that Vijećnica works every day from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The cost of admission to Vijećnica is 10KM for an individual ticket, 8KM for a group ticket (10+ members), and 5KM for children, students, retirees and individuals with special needs.
