The first one is the Museum of Sarajevo 1878-1918, with its permanent exhibit on Sarajevo during the period of Austro-Hungarian rule.
Two other buildings have also become national monuments. The first is located at 2 Mis Irbina Street and houses Sarajevo’s first cinema – Apolo – which started working in 1912 and was considered one of the most beautiful movie theaters in Europe at that time.
The second is a residential and commercial building located at 27 Marshal Tito Street, near Vječna Vatra (Eternal Flame). The building was built in the early 20th Century in the Art Nouveau style.
