The program of the third Al Jazeera Balkans International Documentary Film Festival (AJB DOC) can be viewed here.

The COVID-19 virus pandemic has negatively affected many segments of society, including the organization of festivals around the world and in the region. Many festivals have been postponed, while some have been extended or adapted to the new conditions and part or all of the program has been transferred to the virtual world. AJB DOC, as one of them, allowed its regional audience to watch all the documentaries for free on the festival website, without the need for registration.

Out of almost 300 films, 18 documentaries were selected for the three selections of the program, 10 for the competition selection, 5 for the AJB Screening selection and 3 for the Last Minute Cinema program. Out of 18 documentaries, which will be available online at AJB DOC, 6 are world, 8 regional and 4 BH premieres.

Three awards will be presented at the AJB DOC Film Festival. An international expert jury of three members will select the best film of the Festival's competition selection and award the "AJB DOC Main Award", as well as the best film of the AJB Screening selection, which will win the award of the same name.

All competition films also enter the competition for the Al Jazeera Balkans program jury award, which awards the "AJB Program Award". Due to the specific circumstances of the digital concept of this year's festival, which takes place without the presence of spectators, the "Audience Award" will not be awarded.

This year's edition of the AJB DOC Film Festival is held under the sponsorship of BH Telecom.
