Half way to the top of Trebević there is an area called Dobre Vode, which is known as one of the main sources of water on this mountain.

Dobre Vode’s system of streams flows along Trebević’s northern slopes, intertwining with mountain paths amid thick forests to create a fascinating sight.

You can reach Trebević peak on foot by moving from Dobre Vode along the western ridge and, in doing so, after about an hour’s walk, you’ll be rewarded with a majestic view of Sarajevo that can be had from the very top of Trebević.

Up on Dobre Vode one can also find the remnants of what used to be Dobra Voda Lodge. This spot is often used as a half-way point by mountaineers making their way up to the peak, Sofa, and it’s here that you’ll find the beginning of the biking path that leads all the way to the top of the mountain.

The road leading to this spot is in pretty bad shape, so it really just serves as a walking and biking path and it isn’t advisable to drive motor vehicles here.
