The Center for Physical Culture in the neighborhood, Hrasnica, in Ilidža was built in 1953 with the intention of meeting the recreational needs of the many workers who were employed at Sarajevo’s FAMOS car factory, as well as to stimulate the development of sports clubs and teams in Hrasnica.

Many different activities organized in the center’s halls and various facilities (football fields, two halls and multipurpose courts) represent different types of sports and disciplines: football, basketball, handball, volleyball, ping pong, gymnastics, bowling, boxing, rhythmic gymnastics, karate, boccia…).

Since 2002, this facility has functioned as part of the Hrasnica-Ilidža Center for Culture, Sport and Recreation.
