This artist, who is considered one of the greatest Neoclassical painters of his time, created works that depicted an opulent world full of fantastic figural art based on Bosnian tradition, Spanish Baroque art and the early Renaissance.
During his productive life, Berber had nearly 100 solo exhibits throughout Europe, the USA and Asia, and he was the recipient of more than 50 awards and honors, including the April 6th Award given by the city of Sarajevo.
One of his works from 1984 was purchased by the Tate Gallery in London, placing him among the greats of the art world who are on display in this museum.
