Located in Gornje Pale, a village 20 km from the center of Sarajevo and 2 km from Pale, Ravna Planina Ski Centar is gaining in popularity.

Ravna Planina runs along Pale Valley, where it joins Jahorina in the south, and has a naturally isolated landscape, dense forests and plenty of plant and animal life.

There are numerous marked mountain trails which run from Ravna Planina to nearby sites, such as: Saračeva Polja, Omladinska Cave, Bijele Stijene (White Rocks), Jahorina ….

The residential area, Gornje Pale, is home to Ravna Planina Ski Center, the “youngest” center of its kind in Destination Sarajevo.

The modern gondola system spans approximately 1,400 meters, transporting you from the base at the ski center to the vantage points above and two artificial lakes.

In summertime, there are many activities, like riding pedal boats and using the water walking balls, as well as taking a ride on the 300-meter-long zip line.

Guests can rent bicycles and access the 12 kilometers of mountain biking trails.

The restaurant, Gondola, at the base of the ski lanes, and Gondola Koliba, which offers a view of Pale and surrounding mountains, both serve local specialties and terrific trout, which you can catch yourself. There are also places to have barbeques, a parking area….

During the winter season, the 12.5 km of ski trails are maintained to the highest standards and allow for alpine and Nordic skiing, as well as snow mobiles.

As the newest ski center in the Destination Sarajevo area, visitors of all ages may not only enjoy winter sports, but also walks in the fresh air.

There is an enclosed cable car, a ski lift with a capacity of 800 skiers per hour, a ski pre-school and baby lift, a ski school, ski rental/service, parking….

Gondola (at the foot of the ski lanes) serves culinary specialties and has live music, and Gondola Koliba (at the top of the lanes), offers a view of Pale and nearby mountains.
