Many appropriate manifestations will be held in Sarajevo to mark May 9 – Europe Day and Victory over Fascism Day – including a performance by the Sarajevo High School of Music's choir and orchestra at Vraca Memorial Park.
From the terrific festival, Sarajevo Evenings of Music (SVEM), which will host virtuosos of classical music like Ivo Pogorelić (May 9-17), to the Sarajevo Ramadan Festival up on Žuta Tabija, interesting exhibits, sporting events, concerts and shows by international DJs, Sarajevo will be offering something for all ages this week.
