The Market is located at Trg Djece Dobrinje in what used to be a reinforced concrete bomb shelter that was used during the last war in BiH by residents of Dobrinja when seeking shelter from grenades.
Several years ago this place was turned into an elegant market with glass doors and a floor that is decorated with Bosnian carpet motifs. In addition to fresh fruits and vegetables that are free from pesticides, the Bosnian
Market also offers different kinds of juices, preserves, jams, honey, ajvar, pickled salads, meat and meat products, dairy products, cakes….
The following agricultural associations sell their products at the market: Voćar Promet (from Zvornik), Agrofood (Konjević Polje-Bratunac), Eko Life (Stolac), Više-Grad (Višegrad); Tarevci (Modriča), 3E (Skelani-Srebrenica) and Slap (Žepa-Rogatica), as well as Sarajevo producers, Brojler, Mujanić and Klas.
The Bosnian Market is open Monday to Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and you can sample or buy some fine domestic products.
