From April 4 to 6, comedy lovers will be heading to Jelićeva 1, because every evening during the Days of Comedy there will be some terrific comedy plays from BiH and the region.
You can buy some interesting gifts at the handicrafts bazaar-exhibit, which will be held on Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6 at the Bosnian Cultural Center, as organized by the 50+ Club.
Musician Chris Dale, who played bass in Bruce Dickinson’s backup band in Sarajevo in 1994 during the Siege, will perform on Friday, April 5 at Underground with Shot Through the Heart. That same evening, the alternative rock group from Novi Sad, Obojeni Program, will play at Jazzbina Sarajevo.
This Friday, well-known Croatian comedian Željko Pervan will be doing his stand-up comedy show, On Cold Concrete, at Coloseum.

The traditional April 6th joint exhibit by BiH artists’ associations will open at the city gallery, Collegium Artisticum, on Saturday, April 6 and will remain on display until April 27.
April 6 will also see the opening of Alma Suljević’s “Kentauromahia” at GSU Brodac. The exhibit will run until April 16.
The opening of the Valter Brani Sarajevo (Walter Defends Sarajevo) Museum is set for 1:00 p.m. this Saturday at the Sarajevo Film Center (Dženetića Čikma 12). The museum was inspired by the partisan film of the same name, one of the most famous movies to come out of Former Yugoslavia.
As for football fans, we recommend the derby match that will be played that same evening between FK Željezničar and FK Sarajevo at Grbavica Stadium.
On Saturday, Jazz Poesy Cabaret, a music-poetry group from Banja Luka, will present its unique fusion of jazz, cabaret and poetry to Sarajevo at Youth Theater; and the Sarajevo play, A Bosnian on Vacation (Bosanac na odmoru), will have you laughing at Pivnica HS.
This Saturday, you can enjoy the big R’n’B party, A Fistful of Dollars Sarajevo, which will see a performance by DJ Goce of Macedonia (former member of S.A.F.) and DJ Che-Woo of Belgrade.
Be sure to reserve Sunday, April 7 for some dancing at the Kizomba Party at Mash, and those who love Latin rhythms can share the dance floor with professional dancers and salsa lovers at Cinemas Sloga on Monday, April 8.
You can view an exhibit of works by the Vojvodina Artists' Association at the Academy of Fine Arts from Tuesday, April 9 until Tuesday, April 16.
From April 9 to 12 the Spring Urban Market at Importanne Shopping Center will gather vendors from all over BiH who sell different handmade products.
On Wednesday, April 10, enjoy a panoramic view of town from S One Sky Lounge, which will see a performance by the terrific Sarajevo singer, Lana Hamza.
