This establishment features an oriental style and has two separate eating areas and a lovely courtyard or avlija. The name of the restaurant is taken from Aeroplan, an aviation association that was once based here back in the 1920s.
As for the menu, you can choose from among Bosnian dishes, including the house specialty (one that we simply have to mention!) – hadžijski ćevap. There are also many kinds of stews, stuffed vegetables, pita (pie), traditional cakes and Bosnian coffee. The menu accommodates the tastes of visitors from different countries, so it is possible to special order some items, as well as to prepare vegetarian dishes or certain items from the grill. The fact that everything is presented in traditional serving dishes lends a special charm to complete the entire experience.
This restaurant is suitable for organizing business lunches, cocktails, weddings, birthdays and tourist groups and it’s also possible to arrange special folklore and music programs.
You can enjoy a view of Gazi Husrev Bey’s Mosque, Sahat Kula (which became famous with the film, Walter Defends Sarajevo), and Gazi Husrev Bey’s Bezistan. The restaurant is also surrounded by old shops, artisan workshops and other attractions.
