December issue of Sarajevo Navigator available at more than 400 locations

The December issue of the monthly city guide, Sarajevo Navigator, offers information on the best events, attractions, places to go out, restaurants and activities in Sarajevo, as well as many interesting stories.

In this issue, find out how one of BiH’s most prolific architects, Juraj Neidhardt, dreamt of giving Sarajevo a new face by fusing the world’s most modern trends with the principles of traditional construction….

Neidhardt came up with his best designs in a house that has a rich past, which is also where painter Mica Todorović lived. The house is now owned by the great Safet Zec, and you can see his great collection of paintings, Embraces, at the Historical Museum (on display for the next three months).

Currently, this villa, located in one of Sarajevo’s old neighborhoods in the center of town, serves as the residence of the Italian Ambassador to BiH. Our guest interviewees, Ambassador Nicola Minassi and his wife, Annarita Lippiello, invite all Sarajevans and visitors to attend the Diplomatic Bazaar at KSC Skenderija on December 7.

Also, discover why this is a magical city for Ismet Nuno Arnautalić, one of the cultural workers who had a hand in making Sarajevo a regional music center….

If you’re looking for terrific entertainment for all ages, with music performances, culinary specialties and a bazaar, we recommend the Coca-Cola Sarajevo Holiday Market. The 9th edition of this event will run from December 4, 2019 to January 13, 2020 at Hastahana Park.

This December, don’t miss a chance to visit Olympic Mountain Jahorina, whose rich offering is now enhanced with the opening of the gondola lift (November 30) and a concert that will be given by Bryan Ferry on December 7.
