If you love hot, Latin rhythms and outstanding dance parties, be sure to attend the 12th Annual Sarajevo Salsa Congress at Holiday Hotel (January 23-26).
Besides the ski pass discounts being offered on Mount Jahorina, there’s also the 4th Annual FIS Ravna Planina Trophy, a testing event that rewards venues with a license to hold the Alpine Skiing Europa Cup. This competition will run from January 22 to 25 on Ravna Planina, Destination Sarajevo’s youngest ski center.
If you love art, don’t miss Art Poster 1977-2017, a retrospective exhibit of works by Branko Bačanović that will be on display at Collegium Artisticum from January 23 to February 21; and we recommend “Art Fight” at Charlama Gallery, which will be hosting a presentation event with Sarajevo artist Aleksandar Saša Bukvić on Saturday, January 25.
The Art of Wine & Food event will also be held on Saturday at The Four Rooms of Mrs. Safija (4 Sobe Gospođe Safije), where you’ll not only enjoy some terrific food by Chef Adis Doljančić and fine wines by Aleksandrović Winery, but also view some wine art (paintings made using wine) by Mira Kovačević, an academic painter from Serbia.
