  • During this tour you will enjoy traditional Bosnian food and flavors while exploring and learning about the sights in Sarajevo's main cultural-historical core.

The tour begins at Tržnica, the indoor city market where locals buy fresh foods produced in untouched nature, in places with plenty of clean air and healthy spring water. You can try some delicious cheeses, and experience the unforgettable taste of cured and smoked meat products prepared using centuries-old recipes. You will also see how Bosnian pie (pita) is made and try some in a buregdžinica (traditional pie restaurant) where Sarajevans eat.

As you walk along Titova St. and Obala Kulina Bana St. (which runs parallel to the Miljacka River), you will hear backstories about important Sarajevo buildings and monuments, and afterwards you can reward your palate with some Bosnian dishes and watch as they are prepared in a traditional restaurant.

The tour ends in the heart of Baščaršija, where we will have some homemade brandy, juice and/or coffee and enjoy the ambiance of a typical Bosnian cafe.

Note: There must be at least two people for the tour to start. It is possible to organize private tours at a special rate.

Recommendation: Have a light breakfast before heading out. During the tour you can enjoy unlimited quantities of food and drinks. Suitable for children. Photography is allowed.
